TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DRIVER'S LICENCE AND AGE LIMITS

For groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I minimum age requirement is 21 with at least one year of valid driving licence. Groups J, K, L, M, N 25 years of minimum age with 3 years of valid driving licence is required.

RENTAL PERIOT

Minimum rental period is 48 hours. Cars returned over three hours later than the pre-calculated return will be charged the full daily rate. Under 3 hours 1/3 of full daily rate will be charged by exceeding hour.

LONG TERM RENTALS

Minimum rental of period is 30 days. Please contact our Office (+90 212 274 26 74 pbx) for further details about rental rates and conditions.

WHAT IS INCLUDED AND EXCLUDED IN THE RATES

Rates are inclusive of unlimited free kilometres, costs of lubrication and technical maintenance. Petrol, Collision Damage Waiver, Personal Accident Insurances, pick-up&return price, child seats, port baggage  and mandatory Value Added Tax at the rate of 18 % are on customer's account.

Vehicles are delivered with a full tank, and are expected to be returned back full. Otherwise, a service charge will be applied to refill.

PAYMENT

Payment is required by one of the credit cards that Tufekcioglu Car Rental accepts. Payment is required to be made at time of rental for the estimated charges, and all charges are billed to credit card at time the car is returned.

Tufekcioglu Car Rental keeps the right to ask for 1000 euros deposit, when necessary.

ONE WAY RENTALS

One-way fees will apply regardless of the rental length in the event of the vehicle is returned to a different location. Fees will be free of charge over ten days rentals.

TRAFFIC FINES

Legal responsibilities resulting from traffic violations that incur during the rental period are charged to the renter.

Port Baggage

Port Baggage may be available with a notice prior to 24 hours for an additional charge of 10 euros per day.

Child Seats

RChild Seats may be available at the rental location for an additional charge of 5 euros per day.

GEOGRAPHICAL LIMITATIONS

The rental vehicle cannot be driven out of the country in which it was rented unless it is specifically allowed by Tufekcioglu Car Rental.

INSURANCES

Our mission is that the renters are fully insured by the way law orders and to make insurance offers according to the customers requirements. There are four types of insurances offered by Tufekcioglu Car Rental.

 1 COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW)

In case of a damage to the vehicle, the renter is responsible for paying 5000 euros for groups A, B, C, D, E, F and 7500 euros for groups G, H, I, J and 10000 euros for groups K, L, M, N. You will be asked if you wish to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with an additional charge.If accepted by the renter and barring any violation of the rental agreements terms and conditions, we agree to waive its right to collect for damages or losses sustained by the vehicle. But you will be asked to pay the loss for days the car remains out of use.

If the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the accident or the accident occurs as a result of the legal speed limit being violated or the accident is unreported by police, Collision Damage Waiver will be invalid.

2 THEFT PROTECTION (TP)

In case of theft, the renter has to pay the daily rental rate until the car is found within 30 days. If the stolen car is not found in 30 days, the renter is responsible to pay the current price of the car. However if the renter accepts to pay Theft Protection, then he is not considered liable in the event that the car is stolen. But again the renter will be asked to pay the daily rental rate until the car is found within 30 days.

3 TIRES-GLASS-HEADLIGHTS-SIDELAMPS-MIRRORS

damages to glass such as front/rear windshield, side windows, mirrors, tires, headlamps or sidelamps are not covered by CDW. For an additional price per day, customers can purchase the supplemental insurance.

4 PERSONAL ACCIDENTS INSURANCE

If the renter accepts to pay PAI, then he/she will have the rights that insurance company offers. For further information please contact our offices.

DELIVERY AND PICK-UP

Free delivery and pick-up service is available within city borders where our offices exist including airports, train stations, marines, terminals and hotels. Otherwise 0.50 euros will be charged per km.
